Many of us had an imaginary friend when we were kids. From the age of 6 or 7 til when I was 9 or 10, mine was a baby dragon. I remember...I was standing in front of the door of the apartment my parents and I lived in at the time when this imaginary friend came to me. She wasn't hatched yet. She was still in her egg. I think I kept the egg around a bit until it hatched and then this baby dragon followed me everywhere as imaginary friends are prone to do. She was really small too. Didn't even come up to my knee though I think eventually she did.
Um....I was either 9 or 10...thinking 10 when the baby dragon left. I was by myself with her on a swing at the daycare center, when her mother came to claim her after having lost her so long. I said goodbye and they walked away.
Yeah I know.....detailed imagination. Tried to make this a detailed pic of her and I hope that's what she looked like. I thought pretty much all dragons were green and yellow just like I thought dinosaurs were though her mother was white
aww! she is adorable.
and what a cute story to go with her!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
